What Is Interior Flooring?

Interior flooring and wall cladding are the tiles, marble, ceramic and porcelain on floors and on bathroom and kitchen walls. The flooring inspection is an engineering visit after installation, where our engineers check the quality of installation and finish before the work is handed over from the contractor.

The inspection matters because tile defects stay with you for years: hollow tiles crack over time, wrong falls pool water in the bathroom, and uneven joints spoil the look of the home. Fixing them after handover means breaking out and replacing tiles you may not find in the same colour.

Handover of Interior Flooring

We inspect the tiles and cladding once at handover, after installation.

Single Inspection

Flooring and Cladding Handover

When: After the tiles are laid and grouted, and before taking handover from the contractor.

Once you take handover from the contractor, any defect becomes your responsibility. We check the installation and finish while you can still ask the contractor to fix things.
